Hannah's Battle with J.M.M.L

It has been provided to keep people updated about Hannah and her recovery progress. Hannah was recently diagnosed with JMML in February 05. She has a long and challenging road ahead with chemotherapy and eventually a bone marrow transplant. She is a great big sister to Emily & Jacob and a great cousin to Alexandra, Abigail, Noah & AJ. Hannah lives in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and receives her treatment at Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto. Hannah lost her battle to cancer on April 23,06.

THANKS CITY TV!!!

03/17/06 - Happy St. Patrick's Day Hannah!! May you have ALL the luck in the WORLD!! Some of you may have seen Hannah today on City TV's Breakfast Television and on City Pulse news at 12 & 6pm. They did a LIVE broadcast from Sick Children's hospital. All the kids on Hannah's floor were given some nice gifts as a part of their March Break Program. THANKS CITY TV!!!

Footprints in the Sand

Footprints in the Sand
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at thevery lowest and saddest times in his life. This bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied "My precious, precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffereing, when you see only one set of footprints in the sand, it was then that I carried you."
